Designed for customers who need items moved or taken away without booking a full clearance team, this service provides one crew member and a small Mitsubishi pickup vehicle to collect and transport smaller loads across Guernsey.

Typically available with 24 hours advance booking, Quick Haul is ideal for customers who need a practical and affordable solution for small jobs that are too large for a car but do not require a full removal or clearance service.

Pricing

£20 call-out fee
£35 per hour labour

Time is calculated from arrival at the collection location until the job is complete.

Waste Disposal

Where waste removal is requested, materials are disposed of at licensed facilities in accordance with local environmental regulations.

Mixed waste loads are typically disposed of at Island Waste facilities and must comply with Island Waste’s Waste Acceptance Criteria.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring that pre-packaged or sealed waste loads (such as black sacks or ready-loaded containers) comply with these criteria.

Load and Safety Limits

To ensure safe operation of the vehicle and crew, the following limits apply:

Maximum total vehicle load: 350kg
Maximum individual item weight: 25kg

The 25kg limit reflects standard manual handling safety guidance for a single crew member.

Items exceeding this limit may require an additional staff member to assist with lifting. Where this is necessary, an additional labour charge may apply.

For heavier or bulkier items, our standard pickup and haulage services may be more suitable.

Weather Considerations

This service uses an open pickup vehicle.

Any transported goods should therefore be weather resistant or suitably packaged to protect against rain or road spray during transit.
